Frequently Asked Questions
Useful answers to help you understand FCCN, the benefits of joining and how the application process works.
What is the Ford Certified Collision Network?
The Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN) is Ford's approved network of collision repairers, created to support high-quality repairs to meet Ford standards through approved methods, specialist training and Genuine Ford parts.
Why should I join FCCN?
FCCN provides access to Ford support, specialist training, commercial opportunities, repair methods, connected systems and greater visibility through the Ford bodyshop locator.
Who can apply?
Any professional collision repair centre that wishes to meet Ford approval standards can apply. The process will assess your current capabilities and identify any areas that may need development.
How do I apply?
Complete the online application and submit. A member of the team will then be in touch with you to discuss your application and check some details and discuss next steps.
What happens if I do not currently meet the standards?
The process is designed to support your journey. If improvements are needed, you will receive guidance and access to supporting information to help you work towards approval.
How long does the application take?
Completing the application form only takes a few minutes. After you submit the application, a member of the team will be in touch with information about the next stages, including any documentation, assessments or actions required.
Will I need to complete an audit?
There is an initial audit you will need to pass to join FCCN. Once you are an approved repairer, there will be an annual audit to ensure Ford standards continue to be met. Ford Opus helps make the audit process structured, efficient and easier to manage.
What is Ford Opus?
Ford Opus is the network's online standards and audit platform. It helps repairers manage audits, monitor compliance, track actions and maintain readiness throughout the year.
What training is available?
There are two training modules at the Henry Ford Academy in Daventry for training on warranty process and the Ford diagnostic kits, when you initially join the network. There is also online training for MET Technicians, VDA's and Panel Technicians, as well as for the Bodyshop Manager. You will also have access to additional Ford training online.
Will joining FCCN help generate more work?
FCCN can strengthen your visibility through the Ford bodyshop locator and can also support access to Vizion repair opportunities, alongside the wider benefits of being part of Ford's approved network.
Is support available during the application?
Yes. You will have access to online guidance, supporting documentation and assistance from the Ford Network Management team throughout the application process.
What standards do I need to meet?
FCCN approval is based on operational, technical and quality requirements, including facilities, equipment, training, repair processes and compliance with Ford network standards.
